Marian Rivera laughs off pregnancy rumor

MANILA, Philippines – Marian Rivera laughs off rumors that she is pregnant courtesy of Dingdong Dantes.
Rumors of her pregnancy started when some fans congratulated Dingdong via Twitter and Facebook. Many surmised that the messages were about a baby, and they connected it with Marian being pregnant.
But Marian is quick to clarify the rumor. Somebody dear to her boyfriend is infanticipating, all right, except it’s not her.
“Hindi ako ‘yung buntis,” the actress said between laughs during the press launch of her new comedy series on GMA, “Tweets For My Sweet.”
Mukha ba akong buntis?”
Marian wore a sexy long white dress during the event.
The dress clearly proved she is not heavy with child, showing off her fine curves and her flat belly.
“How I wish na buntis ako, ‘di ba? Pero hindi at malayo pa ‘yan sa mga plans namin ni Dong,” she said.
She makes it clear that if she were to get pregnant it would have to come after a trip down the aisle with her “My Beloved” leading man.
“Siyempre, bago mabuntis kailangan legal ang pagsasama namin.
For now, plans to settle down and have a baby are far from her mind.
But if and when the time comes that she has to make a choice between her career and raising a family, don’t be surprised if she chooses a quiet life away from the limelight.
Nevertheless, she’d rather not face such a difficult decision. She wants to see that fork down the road when she is already satisfied with her achievements.
“Sana huwag dumating sa gano’n na mamimili ako,” she said.
And while we’re on the subject of pregnancy, how are things between her and her preggy “My Beloved” co-star Katrina Halili? Have they patched things up after an alleged spat on the set?
“Okey na po kami ni Katrina. Nagkausap na kami and naayos na,” she said.
Marian believes it was all a big misunderstanding, and all’s well that ends well.
Marian understood where Katrina was coming from given her sensitive condition.
After all the drama on and off-camera in “My Beloved,” Marian is excited to work in a sitcom like “Tweets for My Sweet,” with a new set of co-stars that include Nova Villa, Roderick Paulate, Elmo Magalona, Barbie Forteza and Chef Boy Logro.
